Flowers Needed

Ok, how in the world did it get to be the 26th of January?  Seriously?  On the other hand, walking to work in the cold today, and seeing little buds on the trees and daffodils shooting their stems out of the earth (yes, spring comes early in Manchester), I thought, yes.  Yes, I am ready for spring.  Ready for sunshine, and flowers, flowers, and more flowers.  So, I've preempted this flower hunger with a new background for the 'ol bloggeroo.

That's all.  Nothing profound today, I'm afraid.  Haven't had enough caffeine to be thinking profoundly yet today.  I hope your day is great!

  1. How I miss spring in Manchester! We're here looking at snowbanks (which I missed when we were in Manchester, so I guess it would be silly to complain). I also miss you and your loved ones!

  2. Dearest Rachel,

So good to hear from you! Yes, I guess the grass is always greener, isn't it? How is life going for you these days? Any plans for your library degree yet? We're coming into the home stretch now, returning to the States in July! I've been hired to teach at our alma mater, Indiana Wesleyan University. Maybe a visit could be arranged, now that an ocean won't be between us! :D
